Department Manager – McDonald's (Franchise)
Join to apply for the Department Manager role at McDonald's . This position is for a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. Only the franchisee will be your employer, responsible for all employment matters.
Responsibilities
Lead shifts every week, ensuring fast, accurate, friendly service.
Manage assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
Oversee the Guest Service Department: deliver great experience, coordinate sales promotions, train staff, and organize Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru.
Oversee the Kitchen Department: ensure quality, safety, food cost control, and staff training on production procedures.
Oversee the People Department: hire qualified crew, train and schedule them to meet sales and profit goals, and acknowledge and motivate employees.
Maintain a positive, flexible, and fast‑paced working environment.
Qualifications
Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within restaurant, retail or hospitality.
Positive team player with flexible schedule.
Must be 18 years or older to be a manager in corporate‑owned restaurants.
