Job description
This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. This franchisee owns a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, for example, when running the restaurant. However, this franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. If you are hired for the job described in this posting, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald’s USA. Only the franchisee is responsible for employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervisions, staffing, and scheduling employees. McDonald’s USA has no control over employment matters at the restaurant. McDonald’s USA will not receive a copy of your employment application and it will have no involvement in any employment decisions, including whether you receive an interview for the job or whether you are hired.
Responsibilities
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience.
Some managers also lead Departments, managing assigned systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results to their teams and other managers.
Guest Service Department Manager responsibilities: make sure crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, ensure sales promotions are executed well, train all service staff in service procedures, and keep the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas organized for optimal service.
Kitchen Department Manager responsibilities: ensure the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, maintains food safety, controls food cost, and trains all kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.
People Department Manager responsibilities: hire qualified crew, train them well, schedule them to meet sales and profit goals, provide a supportive onboarding experience, and recognize and motivate staff throughout their tenure.
Coordinate with other managers to meet overall restaurant performance objectives.
Qualifications
Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
Positive team player with a flexible schedule and a passion for working in a fast‑paced environment.
Must be 18 years or older.
