Job description
This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. This franchisee owns a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, for example, when running the restaurant. However, this franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. If you are hired for the job described in this posting, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald’s USA. Only the franchisee is responsible for employment matters at the restaurant, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervisions, staffing, and scheduling employees. McDonald’s USA has no control over employment matters at the restaurant. McDonald’s USA will not receive a copy of your employment application and it will have no involvement in any employment decisions, including whether you receive an interview for the job or whether you are hired.
Responsibilities
Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. Some managers also lead departments supervising systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results to teams and other managers.
The Guest Service Department Manager ensures crew and managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are executed well, that all service staff are trained in procedures, and that the Front Counter McCafé and Drive‑Thru areas are organized for optimal service.
The Kitchen Department Manager ensures the restaurant delivers high‑quality food quickly, maintains food safety, controls food cost, and trains kitchen staff in production procedures, including new menu items.
The People Department Manager leads hiring, training, and scheduling to meet sales and profit goals, ensures crew receive a good start and are recognized and motivated throughout their tenure.
Qualifications
Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates should be positive team players, willing to work flexible schedules and thrive in a fast‑paced McDonald’s environment. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
