Job description
Overview
The Department of Anesthesiology at Emory University School of Medicine seeks a pain medicine board‑eligible/board‑certified physician to join the Emory University Hospital Midtown Pain Division.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients in clinic for chronic pain of varying etiologies.
Perform interventional procedures for chronic pain at the ambulatory surgery center and operating room.
Provide perioperative nerve blocks for the operating room.
Conduct inpatient consults for acute pain.
Teach anesthesiology residents and pain management fellows.
Participate in committee, leadership, and research opportunities.
Qualifications
M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent.
Eligible to apply for a medical license in the state of Georgia.
American Board of Anesthesiology board certified/eligible.
Fellowship in Pain Medicine.
Excellent clinical care, teaching, and scholarly activity.
