Job description
Job TitleThe qualified candidate provides secretarial support for the District Lead of Special Education, as well as department and building staff by performing duties as assigned. The candidate must be highly organized and able to prioritize work. They must be detail oriented and able to produce work with a high degree of accuracy. The candidate must interact in a professional manner with staff and the public and be able to maintain an extremely high degree of confidentiality. Excellent computer skills needed including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher as well as Google Workspace.Requirements: High School diploma. College degree preferred Secretarial experience in a business or school environment preferred. Previous grant experience preferred. Experience in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher as well as Google Workspace. Ability to formulate charts/tables in Excel. Knowledge of special education programming and supports preferred.Work Calendar: 10-month work calendar (with summers off) 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (M-F) Salary: $ 25.99/hour Benefits: IMRF, health insurance, and leave time (sick and personal) Supervisor: David Dore, District Lead for Special Education
