Job description
Our client is a fast-growing AI healthcare startup is seeking a Deployment Strategist to own end-to-end customer deployments for Fortune 500 healthcare organizations — managing stakeholders, timelines, and project plans as a foundational hire.
This is a high-ownership, client-facing role for a high-agency operator who thrives in ambiguity, communicates exceptionally well, and builds relationships quickly.
What You'll Do
Lead a panel of 3–5 customer implementations from kickoff through go-live, managing project plans, timelines, and financial outcomes
Manage complex stakeholder relationships across large healthcare organizations with multiple decision-makers
Run kickoff calls, weekly syncs, and stakeholder check-ins — serving as the customer's primary non-technical point of contact
Build and refine the implementation playbook from scratch as one of the first hires in this function
Work in a dyad with a forward-deployed engineer, owning the project management and stakeholder side while they handle technical execution
Key Requirements
2–5 years in consulting or customer-facing implementation and project management at a B2B SaaS or tech startup
Experience at a high-growth startup (Series A–D) or top-tier consulting firm (MBB or similar)
Led end-to-end software implementations or customer onboarding with ownership of timelines, stakeholder management, and go-lives
Multi-workstream project management — tracked 10+ parallel deliverables to deadline
Semi-technical fluency — understands APIs, LLMs, and technical documentation
Healthcare or health-tech implementation experience preferred
Some signal of exceptionalism — top school, notable achievement, or spiky accomplishment
High-agency executor who does the work themselves, not a delegator
Worksite address
