Job description
The Wall Street Journal is seeking a Deputy Bureau Chief in Chicago to lead our Midwest bureau, shaping coverage of business, finance, and global markets. You will partner with the Bureau Chief to assign stories, edit fast-breaking news, and mentor reporters toward scoop-driven enterprise.
Based in our Chicago office, you will coordinate with visuals, data, and platform teams to maximize reach across Dow Jones platforms, while maintaining fairness, accuracy, and high journalistic standards.
