Job description
The Deputy Director of Psychiatric Center 1 - Quality Management oversees the Quality Management Program at Greater Binghamton Health Center, an Office of Mental Health facility. This executive role supervises departments including program evaluation, risk management, utilization review, health information management, and staff development while ensuring compliance with OMH, Joint Commission, and CMS standards. The position reports to the Executive Director and collaborates with facility leadership to develop policies and improve care for adults, youth, and families served by the center.
Key qualifications:
Master's degree in mental hygiene, hospital/health administration, or related field (or MD/license to practice medicine)
Six years of experience in mental health or health care setting
Four years of managerial experience in quality management component area (program evaluation, risk management, utilization review, standards compliance, or related), OR three years managing two such a
U.S. citizenship and New York State residency required
