Job description
The American Civil Liberties Union of New Jersey (ACLU-NJ) seeks a strategic, collaborative, and values-driven Deputy Legal Director to co-lead the legal department from Newark, with a hybrid schedule (office Tuesdays and Wednesdays). The Deputy will design and litigate high-impact matters and help shape strategic plans for growth of ACLU-NJ’s legal advocacy.
Reporting to the Legal Director, this role oversees attorneys, develops internal systems, and builds partnerships with external partners
