Lancaster County Sheriff's OfficeThe Lancaster County Sheriff's Office provides a dynamic and diverse work environment, blending rural and urban settings while serving a population of approximately 325,000. Chapter 8 of the Nebraska Crime Commission on Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice sets forth specific rules and regulations of which we must comply. Vacation leave, sick leave, and holidays are prorated for part time employees based upon the hours worked per week. Temporary, seasonal, and on-call employees are not eligible for benefits.
