What You’ll Actually DoThis isn’t sitting behind a desk all day. As a Deputy Sheriff, you’ll rotate through different assignments so your job stays interesting, challenging, and rewarding.
You’ll: Keep people safe inside the jail and courtsProcess and classify inmatesMaintain order in courtrooms as a bailiffTransport inmates securelyUse tech systems, radios, cameras, and databasesRespond to emergencies and support your teamTake part in community programs and outreachLearn real law enforcement skills that open doors for the futureEvery shift builds experience. Meet all federal, state and local requirements to carry a firearm.

Requires a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
Have a High School Diploma or GED Certificate.
