Part-Time Deputy Sheriffs (Day Shift)Now Hiring: Part-Time Deputy Sheriffs (Day shift) The Fairfax County Sheriff's Office is seeking qualified individuals who currently hold a valid Virginia DCJS Law Enforcement Certification to serve part-time in our Confinement Division on day shift.Position Details:Schedule: 40 hours per pay period, consisting of five 8-hour shifts (7 a.m.–3 p.m.), including every other weekend and two weekday shifts per pay cycle.Training: Selected candidates will attend a 4-week Deputy School (unless already Virginia DCJS certification in Civil, Court, and Jail operations), followed by our structured Field Training Program designed to ensure success and confidence on the job.This position is ideal for experienced law enforcement professionals looking to continue serving their community while building a meaningful second chapter in their careers.Join our team.
