Dermatologist Job Description
gpac, a 30+ years recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established Dermatology Clinic in the New Orleans area. We are seeking a skilled Dermatologist to join their team. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat various skin conditions, including but not limited to, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancer
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' skin and provide appropriate treatment plans
- Perform minor surgical procedures, such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy
- Recommend and prescribe medications, creams, and ointments for dermatological conditions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dermatological treatments and techniques
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide exceptional patient care and build strong relationships with patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to offer comprehensive treatment plans
- Keep accurate and detailed medical records of patients' visits, treatments, and progress
- Educate patients on skin health, preventive measures, and the importance of regular skin screenings
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge
Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in General, Medical, and Surgical Dermatology
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to develop accurate treatment plans
- Proficient in performing dermatological procedures, including biopsies and excisions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interactions
- Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive work environment This position offers a generous salary ranging from $250,000 to $450,000, based on experience and qualifications.
