# DermatologistMD / DO · Independent contractor · Production-based compensationJoin a Newport Beach practice spanning medical dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetics, and functional medicine. You will build and run your own medical dermatology panel with the facility, staff, and patient flow already in place.Location: On-site in Newport Beach, CaliforniaSchedule: Flexible — set your own clinic days## Responsibilities* Evaluate and treat the full range of general and medical dermatology conditions* Perform in-office procedures including biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy* Manage skin cancer screening and surveillance, referring surgical cases as indicated* Coordinate with the aesthetics and functional medicine teams on shared patients* Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the practice EMR## Requirements* MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Dermatology* Active, unrestricted California medical license* Current DEA registration* Current professional liability (malpractice) coverage* Eligible to contract as an independent contractor## Preferred* Established or portable patient following in Orange County* Comfort with cosmetic consultation and cross-referral* Experience in a multi-specialty aesthetic practice## How compensation worksEvery clinical position at Allure MD is an independent contractor engagement. There is no base salary and no hourly rate. Compensation is entirely production-based — you earn a percentage of the collections generated by the patients you treat.* You are paid on what you produce, with no ceiling.* The practice provides the facility, equipment, clinical and front-office support, scheduling, and patient flow.* You retain control of your schedule and clinical judgment within the practice's protocols.* The specific percentage varies by role and service line and is discussed during the interview process.As an independent contractor you are responsible for your own taxes, benefits, and professional liability coverage.
