For this opportunity, Colwyn Group is recruiting on behalf of a physician-owned medical practice in Suwanee, Georgia. Employment will be directly with the hiring practice, with Colwyn Group facilitating the recruitment process.
Role Description This full-time, on-site Dermatologist role is based in Suwanee, GA. The Dermatologist will provide comprehensive medical and cosmetic dermatologic care, including evaluating, diagnosing, and treating conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers, and other disorders of the skin, hair, and nails. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, performing dermatologic procedures, recommending treatment plans, and documenting care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. The role may also involve cosmetic dermatology services such as injectables, laser treatments, and other aesthetic procedures, as appropriate to patient needs and clinic offerings. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals, patient education on skin health, and participation in quality improvement and practice development activities are expected.
Strong foundation in Medicine and Dermatology, with the ability to diagnose and manage a broad range of medical skin conditions.
Expertise in Acne and related dermatologic disorders, including evidence-based treatment planning and follow-up care.
Skills in Cosmetic Dermatology and Cosmetology, with experience in aesthetic procedures and patient counseling on cosmetic options.
Board certification or board eligibility in Dermatology; valid and unrestricted medical license (or ability to obtain) in Georgia.
Experience working in outpatient clinical dermatology settings, with excellent clinical judgment and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills, with a commitment to inclusive, patient-centered care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and adapt to a busy clinical environment.
Prior experience with electronic medical records and adherence to regulatory, ethical, and safety standards in healthcare.
