Big County Pain Management & Private Practice Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team. Work Environment
The position is based onsite at our outpatient office, which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed for optimum patient comfort and care. Our work environment fosters collaboration and innovation, where you will work alongside a supportive team of dermatology professionals. Most operating hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with one late shift until 7:00 PM on a rotational basis and occasional Saturday hours based on patient demand.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive medical histories and skin examinations.
Diagnose and develop treatment plans for a variety of dermatological conditions, both medical and cosmetic.
Perform advanced cosmetic procedures, including Botox injections and dermal fillers with precision and care.
Contribute to skin cancer screenings and provide comprehensive post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery and follow-up.
Educate patients on skincare, treatment options, and preventive measures to enhance their overall well-being.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our patient population spans a diverse demographic, addressing the skin health needs of individuals of all ages. You will engage with patients managing chronic skin conditions, those seeking cosmetic enhancements, and individuals requiring regular screenings for skin cancer. Your compassionate approach and expertise will enable you to create lasting relationships, positively impacting their self-esteem and health outcomes.
Qualifications
A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with an emphasis on dermatology or a family nurse practitioner program with dermatology coursework.
A valid Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) credential, awarded by the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB).
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with prior experience in dermatology—either as a Nurse Practitioner or in a related field—are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in performing cosmetic procedures, such as Botox and fillers, is considered a valuable asset.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance. In addition, we provide a robust benefits package that includes:
