Dermatology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Boston Medical Center – South, part of the Boston Medical Center Health System, is seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing outpatient dermatology program in North Easton, MA. This position is based in a brand-new, newly renovated dermatology office, designed to support high‑quality patient care, efficient workflows, and an exceptional patient and provider experience. This role is ideal for a dermatology APP who is comfortable practicing independently within a collaborative care model and is excited to help grow services in a modern, community‑based setting.
Position Highlights
Brand‑new outpatient dermatology office at 3 Washington Street, North Easton
Modern exam rooms and updated dermatologic equipment
Established referral network and strong primary care integration
Independent clinic role with physician collaboration and support
Full‑time preferred; part‑time may be considered
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive outpatient dermatologic care to adult patients
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic skin conditions
Perform dermatologic procedures within scope and demonstrated experience, including but not limited to:Skin biopsies and excisions
Cryotherapy and electrodessication
Intralesional and cosmetic injections (if applicable)
Develop and manage treatment plans and follow patients longitudinally
Educate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and treatment options
Document clinical encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with dermatologists, primary care providers, and clinical staff
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
Current or eligible Massachusetts licensure
National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA as applicable)
Minimum of 2 years of direct outpatient dermatology experience required
Demonstrated competency in medical dermatology and common dermatologic procedures
Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive compensation commensurate with experience, ranging from $109,000 to $158,000. Inclusive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off, paid holidays, CME allowance, and malpractice insurance coverage. Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) is available.
