Schedule & Coverage
Monday-Friday: 7:40 AM-4:40 PM
Appointment length: 15-20 minutes
Lunch: 12:00 PM-1:00 PM
Mix of in-clinic and virtual visits
No holiday coverage
No call coverage
Approximately 24-32 patients per shift

Practice Details
Outpatient dermatology
EMR: Epic
Hospital stroke certified
Support staff: 2 MAs
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 45-120 days

Required Skills & Scope of Practice
Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages, except as specifically excluded from practice
Manage benign and malignant disorders of the integumentary system, including:
Epidermis
Dermis
Subcutaneous tissue
Hair
Nails
Mouth
External genitalia
Cutaneous glands
Diagnose and treat sexually transmitted diseases
Diagnose and treat skin cancers, moles, and other skin tumors
Manage contact dermatitis and allergic/non-allergic skin disorders
Manage skin manifestations of systemic and infectious diseases
Manage cosmetic skin disorders, including:
Hair loss
Scars
Skin changes associated with aging
Interpret specially prepared tissue sections, cellular scrapings, and smears of skin lesions using routine and special techniques, including electron and fluorescent microscopy
Procedures
Simple excision and repair
Skin and nail biopsy
Dermatologic surgery
Electrosurgery
Cryosurgery
No Mohs surgery
No cosmetic surgery
Qualifications
Fellowship required
Board Certified in Dermatology
