Build Your Career With Boone Homes Boone Homes has built luxury new homes in the Greater Richmond area for more than 35 years. We are seeking a Design & Selections Coordinator to guide homebuyers through the choices that make a new home their own—and to ensure those choices are documented clearly and carried through construction.
This is a full-time, in-person role based in Manakin Sabot, Virginia. You’ll work closely with homebuyers, Sales, Estimating, Construction, vendors, and subcontractors. The right person enjoys helping people make design decisions and is equally committed to the details and deadlines behind them.
What You Will Do
Lead homebuyers through interior and exterior selections, helping them make choices that fit their vision, budget, and decision deadlines.
Coordinate appointments, samples, product information, and follow-up with homebuyers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Document selections, upgrades, and approved changes accurately, including the information needed to prepare change orders.
Provide complete, timely selection details to Estimating for pricing and purchase orders.
Maintain organized records and keep superintendents and construction managers informed of selections and changes that affect their work.
Enter and maintain selection information in Boone Homes’ systems and distribute regular status reports.
Identify missing decisions, conflicting information, or potential delays early and work with the team to resolve them.
What You Bring
Experience in residential interior design, new-home selections, residential construction, or a closely related role. Three or more years of relevant experience is preferred.
A strong sense of design and the ability to help buyers make confident choices without losing sight of practical requirements.
Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to track multiple homes and deadlines at once.
Careful attention to detail when recording selections, changes, and product information.
Clear, professional communication and a welcoming approach to working with homebuyers.
Comfort learning and using databases, spreadsheets, and other business software. Experience with Marks Systems is a plus.
A high school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation
Salary range: $60,000-$80,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Bonus opportunities available.
