Job description
Design Control Manager is required for a multinational consultation company located in Cairo.
Responsibilities
Lead mentor and manage design and engineering teams fostering collaboration and ensuring effective resource allocation
Develop implement and maintain design control processes ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal quality standards
Manage the design lifecycle from concept to production overseeing design reviews documentation risk management and change control
Conduct internal audits track non-compliance manage corrective actions and support quality investigations
Work closely with engineering operations and senior leadership to align designs with strategy budgets and customer expectations
Lead risk assessments develop mitigation strategies and ensure products are designed for safety and manufacturability
Prepare and review design control documentation for regulatory filings generate executive reports and maintain quality records
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in architecture or engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in design management/control for large-scale projects.
Proven experience in PM/CM/consultancy environments.
Experience with multi-package procurement and construction interfaces.
Experience on large mixed-use or infrastructure projects is preferred.
Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills (English proficiency is a must).
Familiarity with design management systems and document control processes.
Experience with FIDIC-based PM/CM projects.
