Job description
Turbo Solutions Engineering is seeking a design engineer to support increasing business.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include 3D solid modeling, finite element structural analysis, and mechanical design of turbomachinery components and systems. Aerodynamic design and analysis skills are welcome, as is program management experience. This position includes assignments within a range of projects in the aerospace, industrial, automotive, and renewable energy fields.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s (BS) or Master’s (MS) degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering;
at least five years’ experience in the design, analysis, or test/development of machinery;
excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills;
understanding of turbomachinery;
working knowledge of solid modeling and finite element structural analysis;
and U.S. citizenship. Preferred: Experience working in a consulting engineering environment;
with mechanical design and analysis of turbomachinery systems;
and with turbomachineryfluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and computational fluid dynamic analysis.
