nJob Description
nAECOM is seeking a Design Intern to be based in Roanoke, VA .
nThis position is expected to begin in January 2027.
nThe responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
nnPerforms a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out tasks.
nLimited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of science alternatives.
nFollows instructions to accomplish task assigned by senior staff.
nMeets required schedules while producing quality work.
n nQualifications
nMinimum Requirements:
nnCandidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or in another related field and must have completed at least 1 year of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree and plan to continue with the Master's degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor's degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship
nDue to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
n nPreferred Qualifications:
nnPrior related internship experience is a plus.
nStrong written and verbal communication skills.
nExperience with AutoCAD and Revit.

nnRelocation assistance is not available for this position.
nSponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
nThis position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in office work in Roanoke, VA. The selected candidate must be available to work in Roanoke, VA on a scheduled basis.

nOffered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $18 to $25.
