Our client is looking Design Research Engineer for Fulltime project in Raymond, Ohio (Onsite) Below is the detail requirement.

Role: Design Research Engineer

Location: Raymond, Ohio

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

2+ years relevant experience Passion for research, solving hard problems, and challenging the status quo.

Ability to learn new topics of apply principles to design and manufacturing challenges.

Working knowledge of Agile processes and methodologies

Design experiments to test hypothesis and prove them out.

Utilize agile process and methodologies to conduct sensing and research initiatives

Confidently make autonomous decisions bounded by the research mission and understanding of the company business model.

Ability to efficiently manage resources to achieve project initiatives and schedules

Clearly communicate new research and technology concepts and ideas to technical team members and management.

Scientifically analyze data provided from tests and experiments to gather knowledge and understanding of the subject of research.

Oversee overall research project schedule, budget, and direction.

Focus on battery material characterization, manufacturing batteries rare earth metals, cathode / anode chemistries, battery performance modeling, recycling of battery materials, understanding of resource circularity.

Chemistry - Lithium Iron Phosphate. New battery cell design; Cell qualification; cell manufacturing &c.

Additional Skills/Soft Skills:

Must take initiative, be self-sufficient and work independently.

Be capable to compare and contrast different approaches, methodologies, materials to develop the best outcome.

Undertake self-directed continuous training and technical development.

Open collaboration with internal and external colleagues

Occasional travel for purposes such as training, conferences, and on-site visits with partners.

Work OT when necessary to meet assigned objectives

Qualification:

Bachelors of Science in Engineering field or equivalent experience in science/engineering research capacity.
