JLR Portland — Detailer/Supervisor
Position Summary
JLR Portland is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Detailer/Supervisor to lead daily vehicle-detailing operations while helping maintain the high presentation standards expected of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands.
This hands-on position combines automotive detailing with team supervision. The ideal candidate takes pride in exceptional work, manages time effectively, and can lead a team in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and oversee complete interior and exterior vehicle detailing.
Prepare new, pre-owned, service, and customer vehicles to dealership standards.
Wash, wax, polish, vacuum, shampoo, and condition vehicles as needed.
Inspect completed vehicles for cleanliness, quality, and damage.
Assign work and coordinate the daily workflow of the detailing team.
Train, coach, and support detail employees.
Monitor productivity and ensure vehicles are completed on schedule.
Maintain detailing supplies, tools, chemicals, and equipment.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures.
Qualifications
Automotive detailing experience required.
Previous supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to organize work, prioritize vehicles, and meet deadlines.
Professional communication and leadership skills.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
