nSummary: Responsible for cleaning and refurbishing new and used cars.
nSupervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
nnnCleans interior and exterior of vehicles.
n
nnWaxes and buffs exterior of vehicles.
n
nnVacuums and cleans vehicle upholstery.
n
nnCleans engine.
n
nnPaints engine.
n
nnApplies touch-up paint to chipped body surfaces of vehicle.
n
nnMaintains CSI at or above Company standards
n
nnMaintains an organized, clean and safe work area
n
nnParticipates in required training
n
nnRecords all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
n
nnFollows Safeguards rules and regulations.
n
nnDemonstrates the Company’s Core Values

nnComplies with Company policies and procedures
n
nnObserves all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.

nBasic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system.
nCommunication Skills:
nAbility to understand and follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel.
nAttendance Expectations:
nThe position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
nPhysical Demands:
nMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
nEnvironment Demands:
nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet (non-weather) and outdoor weather conditions. Duties are performed primarily in a designated detailing area of the dealership, but may extend to various areas throughout the facility, both indoors and outdoors. Work includes frequent movement in and out of cars, contact with vehicle cleaning and painting products, and limited interaction with customers.

nSalary Range: The detailer position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Compensation of $18.50-$20.00 per flat rate hour. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
