In this essential role, you will help maintain the safety, security, and order of our detention facilities while upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
What We Offer
Starting Compensation: $54,000 annually
$10,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid in equal payments bi-weekly in your first year)
$100 Monthly Transportation Allowance (each month for a year)
Opportunities for overtime and career advancement
Key Responsibilities
As a Detention Officer, you will:
Supervise and monitor inmate activities and daily facility operations
Enforce rules, regulations, and security procedures
Ensure the safety of staff, inmates, and visitors
Respond to emergencies with confidence, professionalism, and leadership
Maintain accurate reports and documentation
Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
At least 20 years of age
Valid Georgia Driver’s License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
U.S. Citizen
Ability to pass a background investigation, polygraph, psych exam, and drug screening
