Job description
City of Edinburg is seeking a Detention Specialist to supervise and assist with inmate safety and health within the Police Department. The role includes transporting inmates to court, handling administrative tasks, and supporting division operations.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of related experience, a valid Texas Class C driver’s license, and the ability to obtain NCIC/TLETS certification within 6 months. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
