Developer-ETL/Informatica SeniorLocation: McLean, VA (2-3 days onsite)Duration: 6-12 Months ContractManager Notes:Strong Informatica experience. Including requirement gathering and developmentUnderstand mapping and converting them to cloud basedSQLVertica and Snowflake database experience will be a plus. Strong database experienceExperience with cloud-based storage - S3 connectivity will be a big plusUnix scriptingExperience with Presto good to haveExperience working with Data models.Some exposure to Informatica IICS will be helpful. It's new but any idea would be goodWill consider strong remote candidate but must be very good.Job Description: Senior Informatica consultant/developer with extensive experience in data analysis, ETL design and development, conversion from Informatica to IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services), testing and support. Duties: Design, develop, deploy and support Informatica ETL code. Participating in Requirements and Design discussions with project stakeholders; Develop and document business requirements, impact assessments, process documentation and other related materials; Translate business requirements into ETL specifications Convert existing Informatica mappings to IICS Developing and documenting business User Acceptance Test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios Write scripts to Integrate with Scheduler for automating production runs. Consume and ingest data from cloud data sources S3 and Snowflake. Ensure effective communication of user requirements Create and maintain documentation (e.g.
