Job description
Apply advanced expertise in child development and developmental psychology to help improve next-generation AI systems. This remote contract role focuses on evaluating psychological content, shaping realistic developmental scenarios, and providing expert feedback that helps AI systems reason more accurately about children''s learning, behavior, cognition, and psychosocial development. Prior AI experience is not required, and the opportunity is particularly relevant to professionals with research or academic backgrounds in child development or developmental psychology, with or without direct clinical experience.
Key Responsibilities Evaluate, review, and annotate datasets related to child development and developmental psychology for AI system training.
Assess data and model outputs for accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and developmental relevance.
Provide expert analysis for scenario development, test cases, and realistic situations involving children''s learning and behavior.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to inform model improvements and support psychologically sound AI interactions.
Create or refine guidelines addressing linguistic, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of child development across diverse backgrounds.
Document findings, analysis, and recommendations clearly and thoroughly to support ongoing AI research and development.
Qualifications Doctorate, PhD, in Child Development, Developmental Psychology, or a closely related field.
Strong expertise in child development and developmental psychology.
Research or academic experience related to child development or developmental psychology is particularly relevant.
Experience with technology-driven, digital, or AI-focused projects related to child development is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently on digital platforms while collaborating with a distributed team.
Work Terms Remote contract engagement.
Work is performed through digital platforms in coordination with a distributed team.
Compensation Compensation ranges from $100 to $200 per hour.
