With a growing focus on data as the primary enabler for AI and advanced analytics, you will be at the center of innovation, helping us take our Kafka service to the next level.

This is a role truly with the DevOps mindset in its foundation. You will help the organization in how to federate data, making it accessible in various forms for our many stakeholders and above all always with the bigger picture in mind – Enabling Tele2 to become automated & data-driven.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

Develop, maintain, and enhance our strategic Kafka platform.

Support, improve & be part of the governance structure so everyone follows the same guidelines

Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring and alerting to ensure service reliability and performance.

Collaborate closely with various development teams and stakeholders to support their data integration needs.

Act as a key player in the evolution of our data distribution services, driving improvements and adopting new technologies & ways of thinking.

Embrace a true DevOps mindset, taking full ownership of the service from code to production.

To be successful in this role, we believe you are a developer who loves to build robust code and understands the bigger picture. You are driven by the desire to be involved, exert influence, and create an impact while prioritizing quality and reliability.

To thrive in this role, we believe that you have:

Solid experience in software development (e.g., Java, Python & Go are preferable but not mandatory).

A strong interest in data streaming, event-driven architecture, and technologies like Kafka (direct Kafka experience is a plus, but not a requirement).

A good understanding of system integrations and how data flows between applications.

A curious mindset with a passion for learning and tackling new challenges.

A DevOps mindset, with an appreciation for automation, monitoring, and the operational aspects of a service.
