Job description
Summary
The Senior Manager of DevOps leads engineers responsible for scalable, automated systems and the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle. This role oversees production support and operations for global ecommerce websites and digital applications.
Responsibilities
Own operational support status for assigned global ecommerce sites and related applications and services.
Coordinate issue triage, prioritization, escalation, root-cause analysis, and incident communications.
Work with development, release management, service desk, business, and IT teams to support system releases and resolve production issues.
Monitor application health, report on service levels and system availability, and coordinate remediation plans.
Maintain operational documentation and knowledge resources, and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least 8 years of hands-on technical experience in development, software quality assurance, or infrastructure environments.
Experience with version control and CI/CD tools such as Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
Knowledge of ecommerce business models; Salesforce Commerce Cloud, IBM Sterling OMS, and React JS experience preferred.
Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work flexible hours, including limited evenings and weekends.
