Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support a major federal modernization program in Huntsville, AL. The DevSecOps Engineer will drive secure automation, CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure-as-code initiatives, and cloud-based delivery across AWS and hybrid environments.
DevSecOps Engineer - Location: Huntsville, AL
Responsibilities of the DevSecOps Engineer include:
Design, build, and optimize CI/CD pipelines supporting automated builds, testing, security scanning, and deployments
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar technologies
Integrate security controls, compliance validations, and automated vulnerability scanning into deployment pipelines
Support containerized application deployments utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native services
Collaborate with engineering, QA, cloud, and product teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and improve automation processes
Qualifications for the DevSecOps Engineer include:
8+ years of experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD engineering, secure automation, or related disciplines
Active Top Secret Security Clearance required
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, and configuration management tools
Strong knowledge of AWS cloud environments, secure software development practices, and infrastructure automation
Experience with automated security tools such as SonarQube, Snyk, Anchore, Twistlock, or Nessus preferred
Bachelor's degree required
Compensation for the DevSecOps Engineer includes:
$165,000 - $175,000
