Job description

Qualifications & Experience:
Valid teaching certification in Deaf/Hard of Hearing education
Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing in school settings
Strong understanding of auditory, oral, and sign language communication approaches
Ability to develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individualized education plans (IEPs)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities: Provide direct instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing, adapting academic content as needed
Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to facilitate inclusive learning experiences
Assess student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain accurate documentation
