Diagnostic Radiologist – Body Imaging Specialist (Academic Faculty)
Position Title: Assistant / Associate / Full Professor – Body Imaging
Location: Gulf Coast Region / Deep South (Metropolitan Area)
Employment Type: Full-Time, Faculty Track
Position Overview:
An established flagship university medical center is actively recruiting a Diagnostic Radiologist with dedicated fellowship training in Body Imaging. This position carries an official faculty appointment and provides an exceptional balance of complex clinical exposure across a multi-hospital system alongside academic mentorship duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver primary diagnostic interpretations and expert consultative services for body imaging exams.
Supervise and perform adult fluoroscopy examinations as needed.
Provide high-quality clinical instruction and lecture-based education to radiology residents and medical students.
Collaborate on interdisciplinary care cases across major regional hospitals and cancer institutes.
Requirements:
Completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Body Imaging.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
Unrestricted state medical license (or eligibility to obtain one prior to start).
Experience or willingness to support additional specialty areas (e.g., Neuroradiology, MSK, or Breast imaging) is highly beneficial.
