nSUMMARY : The Diagnostic Radiologist will provide diagnostic radiology services for Alameda Health System, under employment from Alameda Health Medical Group. Services will be on-site at Highland Hospital, San Leandro Hospital, and Alameda Hospital.
nDUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS : NOTE: Following are the duties performed by employees in this classification. However, employees may perform other related duties at an equivalent level. Not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each individual in the classification.
nnnImage interpretation: analyze and interpret various diagnostic images, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray to diagnose and monitor medical conditions

nnPatient care: work closely with referring physicians to discuss findings, provide diagnostic reports, and offer recommendations for further testing or treatment
n
nnQuality assurance: ensure high-quality imaging and diagnostic accuracy through adherence to established protocols and standards
n
nnCollaboration: collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including radiologic technologists, surgeons, and oncologists to develop comprehensive patient care plans
n
nnDocumentation: maintain accurate and detailed records of diagnostic findings and patient care interactions
n
nnContinuing education: stay current with advancements in radiology and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

n nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
nEducation: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) orDoctor of Osteopathic Medicine ( (D.O.) is required.
nRequired: Board Eligible or Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
nRequired Licenses/Certifications: Possession of a valid license to practice medicine in the State of California.
nValid DEA license.
nPay Range $259.41- $269.62 / Hour
nThe pay range for this position reflects the base pay scale for the role at Alameda Health System. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, and certifications, departmental equity, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and the operational needs of the organization. nAdditional Information
nNote: We are seeking a per diem diagnostic radiologist at Alameda Health System (AHS) in the San Francisco Bay Area. Come join a tight-knit group of 12 radiologists. No IR responsibilities, which are covered by IR.
