DIALYSIS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is recruiting top talent interested in supporting our nonprofit mission to prioritize individualized care for patients facing chronic kidney disease. Dialysis Registered Nurse - Area Float provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in-center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient. This position will be part of the Albany area float pool.
Schedule : Full‑time, four 10‑hour shifts starting at 5am; Sundays off; no overnight shifts
Compensation : Pay ranges from $35‑$39 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience

Responsibilities
Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies, and ensure quality standards are met
Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
Provide ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
Administer and chart all prescribed medications
Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
Document required patient education efforts
Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
Assist in medication inventory maintenance
Lead a small patient care team
Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
Additional tasks as requested

Ability to problem solve
Education/Training:
Accredited nursing degree required
Dialysis experience is required; minimum of 6 months required, one year preferred
