As a tool and die maker with us, you will get to use blueprints to determine project specifications, set up and operate machine tools, finish and adjust parts, and test tools to ensure quality standards are met. You will also get to make use of your outstanding mechanical and mathematical skills while crafting tools and dies. This position is excellent for anyone with exceptional technical expertise and a positive, team-oriented attitude looking to work for a company where they can grow and hone their skills.Job Responsibilities:Troubleshooting of all stamping dies, die cast molds, injection rubber/nylon moldsRepair and maintenance of all stamping dies, die cast molds, injection rubber/nylon molds and tooling to support production needsAssist with Quality Circle activities within the die maintenance teamsAssist production when requiredRequired:High school diploma or equivalentJourneyman's card or 5 years documented related experience in the tradeExcellent visual accuracyExcellent technical skills, with the ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot mechanical problems.Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to mentally add, subtract, divide and multiply.2nd Shift.Desired:Formal training at a recognized trade schoolCollege or equipment makerExperience in all areas of die maintenanceBenefitsExcellent Health Insurance w/ Prescription, Vision & DentalSuper-low monthly contributionPaid vacation in your 1st year5% 401k matchCompany bonus (discretionary)Company-related tuition reimbursementOpportunity for performance-based personal & financial growthShort-term disabilityOptional life insuranceRetiree medical account
