Job description
Tool & Die TechnicianThe Tool & Die Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and fabricating tooling and dies used in manufacturing processes.Primary Responsibilities:Performs preventive maintenance on tooling and dies to ensure optimal performanceTroubleshoots and repairs tooling and die issues to minimize downtimeFabricates new tooling and dies according to engineering drawings and specificationsCoordinates with production and engineering teams to support tooling needsDocuments maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of tooling inventoryAdheres to safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance and repair tasksEducation Requirements:High school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum Experience Required:Two (2) years of related experienceLicense(s) and/or Certification(s) Required:n/aKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:Knowledge of metalworking processes and materials. Previous experience in a manufacturing environmentComputer Equipment and Software Requirements:Microsoft Office SuitePreferences:Associates degree or technical certification in Tool & Die Making or related fieldExperience with CNC machining and programmingCentral Die Certification training
