CAPT is the North American location for Honda Foundry’s world-renowned engine and frame component manufacturing. These products become part of legendary Honda automobile engines and suspension systems. nnWe are looking for Die Technicians to join our team!
nnKey Responsibilities:
nnInspect, repair, install, and maintain dies and tooling components
nRead blueprints and use measuring tools
nPerform routine preventative maintenance on dies
nRespond to work order requests in a timely fashion to help minimize downtime
nCollaborate with production and engineering teams to improve die performance
nBasic machine set up such as lathes, and mills
nWelding experience is a plus
nMaintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities
nAdhere to all safety policies and procedures
n nnnQualifications:
nnHigh school diploma or equivalent
nAbility to work 2nd / 3rd shift
nAbility to read blueprints and technical drawings
nPrior use of precision measuring tools
nPrevious experience in die maintenance and repair
nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
nFamiliarity with industrial tools and equipment
nPrevious welding experience or willing to be trained
nAbility to handle a physical workload
nExperience working with CNC Mills and 3D models is a plus
