Job description

Diesel Engine Inspector Contractor Instructor (DEI CI)Prevailance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Diesel Engine Inspector Contractor Instructor (DEI CI) to support the Surface Warfare Engineering Schools Command (SWESC). This role involves delivering high-quality technical and military training to Department of Defense (DOD) personnel, including Navy and Allied Forces officers and enlisted personnel temporarily assigned for training.Key Responsibilities:Provide instruction, testing, remediation, and curriculum support, including updates and maintenance of course materials.Operate and maintain training equipment, training aids, and lab tools.Ensure the safe delivery of training content and oversee compliance with safety standards.Facilitate learning using principles, methods, and practices for effective content delivery, testing, and remediation.Requirements:Instructor Certification:Graduate of the Navy Instructor Training Course (CIN: A- ) (NEC 9502) or equivalent instructor training courseExperience:Minimum of three (3) years of technical experience in diesel engine inspection processesAt least two (2) years of experience in a Military Training EnvironmentFormer senior (E7 – E9) Engineman (EN) or Machinist's Mate (MM) with shipboard experience within these ratingsEducation and Training:Graduate of: Diesel Engine Core (A- )Diesel Engine Inspector Course (A- )Specialized Knowledge:Comprehensive knowledge of diesel engine inspection processes and safety protocolsCertified as an instructor in the Diesel Engine Inspector functional areaFamiliarity with training aids, electronic podiums, technical training equipment (TTE), and associated maintenance proceduresMinimum Education:High school diploma or equivalentClearance:Must be able to obtain a favorable background clearanceIf you meet these qualifications and are ready to make an impact, we encourage you to apply today!At Prevailance, we recognize that our employees are our greatest asset.
