Diesel Mechanic – Agricultural Equipment & Fleet Service

RBraun Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable *Diesel Mechanic* to join our growing agricultural service team. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys diagnosing problems, performing quality repairs, and working on a wide variety of agricultural and commercial equipment. What You'll Work On
You will diagnose, maintain, and repair a diverse range of equipment, including:
* Semi tractors
* Farm tractors and agricultural equipment
* Farm implements
* Diesel-powered vehicles and equipment
* Gas-powered vehicles and equipment
* Commercial and shop equipment
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and driveline issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques
* Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and equipment inspections
* Service and repair engines, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components
* Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
* Conduct safety inspections and identify equipment concerns before they become major issues
* Maintain accurate service records and work orders
* Keep the shop clean, organized, and operating safely
* Follow all company policies and OSHA safety standards
QualificationsRequired
* High school diploma or GED
* Minimum of 2 years of mechanic, diesel technician, maintenance technician, or related experience
* Strong understanding of diesel engines, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and mechanical systems
* Experience using diagnostic software, scan tools, and mechanical testing equipment
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, kneeling, and twisting
* Must provide personal hand tools and toolbox
* Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship
Preferred
* ASE certifications or equivalent technical certifications
* DOT inspection experience or certification
* Experience with agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, fleet maintenance, or commercial trucks
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and customer service skills
