nnCertification Bonus of $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained up to $700

nnQuarterly Bonus: Ryder Pays you up to $500 Every Quarter - Four Times Per Year

nnSchedule: Monday through Friday

nnHours: Second Shift Tuesday - Thursday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm, Friday 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm

nRequirements
nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
nnnAbility to perform all T3 tasks
n
nnMust have demonstrated advanced analytical and repair skills in vehicle maintenance
n
nnEffective interpersonal communication skills
n
nnMust have basic computer skills: PC, Windows, mouse, etc.
n
nnMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds
n
nnMust be available to work shift work/weekends and on call duty as required
n
nnPrefer ASE Certification in PM, Brakes, A/C, electrical, Electronics or ASE Master Mechanic
n
nnRequired to operate shop computers and diagnostic test equipment proficiently
n
nnMust have minimum tool requirement
n
nnMust road test vehicles as necessary
n
nnDemonstrated ability to coach/mentor/influence others
n
nnThis position requires for you to drive Ryder vehicles. In order to become a Ryder employee you must:
n
nnMust be able to obtain CDL within 6 months after hire
n
nnPass a Ryder Drug Test
n
nnPass a DOT physical
n
nnPass a Ryder road test
n
nnPass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
n
n nImportant Note: Additional requirements may be required in different locations and/or accounts.
nResponsibilities
nnnSBTIII trained within 180 days (SBT220)
n
nnComplete all OEM on-line diagnostic scan tool software courses as required by location fleet mix. (completed within 365days)
n
nnComplete Instructor led OEM courses as required to support location fleet mix.
n
nnPerforms vehicle maintenance and repair duties including:
n
nnPerforms standard vehicle maintenance
n
nnPerforms preventive maintenance
n
nnPerforms complex repairs with minimal (if any) support.
n
nnDemonstrate the ability to access and use internal and external maintenance documents
n
nnDiagnoses and repairs complex mechanical and electronic problems with minimal (if any) support, utilizing diagnostic computers/software when applicable.
n
nnPerforms remote triage to with RCRC and customers to determine best solution to assist roadside breakdowns.
n
nnPerforms facility maintenance duties
n
nnInteracts with customers/drivers to properly determine nature of complaint once assigned a task.
n
nnInstructs and advises other technicians regarding maintenance repair procedures and diagnostics
n
nnCoaches/Mentors other level technicians
n
nnAdvise shop management and other technicians on shop repairs
n
nnUtilizes key functions of Shop Management System and electronic documentation available
n
nnWorks in accordance with all federal/ provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, MOT)
n
nnOther support duties as required to support operations. These could include but are not limited to Service Island support.
