Nauset Disposal has an opening foraDiesel Mechanic join our GROWING team at our site inSouth Yarmouth, MA.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00am to 8:30pm & Saturday's as needed.
Pay Rate: $26.00 to $36.00 per hour

Assists experiencedmechanicswithvehicle maintenanceand repairs, learning the trade under supervision.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on trucks and equipment
Conductoil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, andlubrication
Assist with brakes inspections, fluid levels, belts, hoses, and other key components
Identify potential issues and report necessary repairs to the lead mechanic
Maintain accurate service records and reports
Keep work areas clean and organized in compliance withsafetyregulations
Assist with minor repairs and support the mechanic team as needed
What we need from you:
Mechanical aptitude, a drive to learn and grow with a team.
Ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments to complete work assignments
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Welding/fabricationexperience,a major plus
