nJob Summary

nOur Truck Service team is comprised of nearly 3,000 highly

nskilled technicians and spans coast to coast. With over 280 locations across

nthe country, TA Truck Service has a solid foundation and a forward-thinking

nvision. As a level one Technician, you will provide accurate, efficient service

nto customers by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy duty trucks

nand trailers in a professional and accommodating manner. Our Technicians ensure

nwe are returning every traveler to the road better than they came!

nIn this role, you can expect to:

nnnWork in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded

nnHave extensive knowledge of the products we sell and the services we provide

n

nnDiagnose wear conditions and together with TSA or Manager, makes recommendations to customers

n

nnComplete repairs within their capabilities and as written

n

nnUnderstand Truck Service Standard Services and specialized customer programs

n

nnFollow safety guidelines and reports potentially unsafe situations caused by team members and/or customers.

nnGood verbal and written communication skills

n

nnPrior verifiable truck service experience preferred

n

nnHeavy duty ASE certifications not required, but a plus

n

nnBasic computer skills

n

nnAbility to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays in interior and exterior conditions

nnA valid driver’s license

n$19.00 - 22.80 per hour

nTypical Physical Demands

nIn this role, the team member is regularly required to talk

nand hear. Standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending over, crouching,

ncrawling, climbing, and repetitive use of legs are done occasionally. The team

nmember is occasionally required to lift up to 50 lbs and/or move heavy objects.

nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision,

ndistance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability

nWork Environment

nWhile performing these duties of this job, the employee may

nbe exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons. Occasionally, the employee will

nalso be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.

nThe noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. While performing

nthese duties, the employee may be exposed to dirt, dust, grime, grease, oil,

ngas, high-concentrated cleaning solutions, etc.
