Diesel Technician
Trillium Professional is seeking a Diesel Technician in Powell, TX!
This Direct-Hire opportunity seeks experienced Diesel Technicians in the Dallas-Fort Worth area to perform diagnostics, repairs, and handle documentation, while working with a supportive team committed to high standards. Mobile and in-shop positions available. Mack experience is required.
Responsibilities:
Perform accurate troubleshooting and repair work on tractors, trailers, and related fleet equipment
Diagnosing mechanical issues by inspecting, testing, and operating equipment
Complete component repairs, rebuilds, and preventive maintenance services
Handle equipment tear-down and reassembly as part of repair processes
Use manuals, diagrams, and prior experience to plan and execute repair procedures
Record labor, parts, and service details in the repair order system
Support other shop locations when staffing needs arise
Take on additional tasks as operational needs change

-3-5 years of hands-on tractor/trailer repair experience preferably with any of the manufactures- Peterbilt, International Freightliner, Mack, Volvo, Kenworth.
Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening.
CDL, ASE, and inspection certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
Solid understanding of diesel engine systems, heavy-duty components, and repair techniques.
Basic electrical knowledge preferred; advanced electrical diagnostics will be taught to qualified candidates.
Ability to accurately track labor time and parts used on each job.
