nThe Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting career opportunity for a Diesel Truck Technician. The Diesel Truck Technician performs light / medium duty diesel truck mechanical and warranty repairs, in-fleeting and vehicle certification and reconditioning services according to company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards. This position requires the technician to have a minimum of four company approved ASE Certifications as well as manufacturer required training in order to perform warranty repairs.
nThe position is located at our Truck Rental Branch: 420 Summit Point Dr, Henrietta, NY 14467.
nThe pay for this position starts at $32 / hour.
nIn addition, you can earn:
nnn$2 / hour for each additional Truck ASE certification after the first 4 required ASEs.
n
nn$1 / hour for each ASE certification after the first 4 required ASEs
n
nn$1.25 / hour more working both Saturday and Sunday.

nResponsibilities
nnnEnsure that all warranty and mechanical repairs are completed according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.
n
nnProvide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of repairs.
n
nnPerform routine and annual DOT required repairs and inspections.
n
nnRead and interpret diagnostic test results, often by using dials, gauges, and other computer equipment.
n
nnRaise trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment by using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
n
nnInspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles.
n
nnDo routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts.
n
nnMaintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repair.
n
nnComply with part and inventory tracking procedures.
n
nnUtilize multiple manufacturers’ websites, software and diagnostic tools.
n
nnMay process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation or buy-backs.
n
nnParticipate in company and manufacturer approved training or other industry related training.
n
nnMaintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standards.
n
nnMaintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality
n
nnPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

nQualifications
nnnMust be at least 21 years of age.
n
nnMinimum of two years of mechanical experience working on buses or medium duty trucks.
n
nn4+ current and valid ASEs certifications are required (at least 2 must be Truck)
n
nnOwnership of standard hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance on current vehicles
n
nnHigh School Diploma / G.E.D. preferred.
n
nnDegree in Automotive Technology, Completion of Automotive Technical College or Technical/vocational training preferred.
n
nnMust have a current and valid drivers license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record with in the past 3 years.
n
nnNo drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).
n
nnSubject to a pre-employment drug test and if hired, will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
n
nnAbility to operate manufacturer diagnostic equipment.
n
nnMust be able understand, read, write, and speak English.
n
nnMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
n
nnApplicants will be required to submit an appropriate medical examiner's certificate, or submit to and successfully complete a D.O.T. medical examination.
