Dietary AideRate: $16.50- $19.16/hour (depending on experience) Shift: Part-Time Schedule: 11:30 am- 7:30 pmTaconic Rehabilitation & Nursing at Ulster is looking to add a Dietary Aide to its team. In this role, you'll help provide high-quality meal service while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Join us and make a difference every day.Responsibilities:Serve meals according to resident dietary needs, portion guidelines, and established meal schedulesAssist with food preparation, portioning, and distribution of meals, snacks, beverages, and nourishmentsMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, equipment, dishes, utensils, and workspacesOperate dietary equipment safely and accurately record food, beverage, and equipment temperaturesAssist with inventory, stocking, receiving, and proper storage of food and suppliesTransport meal carts and food trucks throughout the facility in a safe and timely mannerAccommodate resident preferences and special dietary requests whenever possibleFollow food safety, infection control, HIPAA, safety, and facility policies and proceduresReport equipment issues, hazards, accidents, and resident concerns to the appropriate supervisorRequirements:Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred: Some food service experienceKnowledge of food safety and sanitation practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detailStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to provide courteous and professional service to residents, families, and staffDependable, organized, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environmentBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-TimeWeekly or Same-Day Pay OptionsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramRetirement Saving OptionsQualificationsEducationRequired: High School or better.Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
