Dietary AideLocation: Lake Providence, LAPay: $10.00/HRSchedule: Full-time (Split)4 days on/2 days offShift Times: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 11:00 AM – 7:30 PMWeekend and holiday availability is requiredCypress at Lake Providence is proud to be a part of the Volare Health family of skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation centers.We're looking for a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team! In this role, you'll help prepare and serve meals while creating a clean, welcoming dining experience for our residents. Your work directly contributes to the comfort, care, and well-being of the people we serve.What You'll DoAs a Dietary Aide, you will help ensure residents receive safe, appealing, and properly prepared meals.Assist with food preparation, meal service, and maintaining clean and sanitary kitchen and dining areas.Ensure plate warmers and hot base units are properly heated.Verify that steam tables are heated to the appropriate temperature.Ensure each meal tray contains the correct food items and accurate serving portions.Use appropriate serving utensils and maintain required food temperatures.Record and review food temperatures before tray-line service.Ensure trays are attractively arranged and properly garnished.Check that silverware, cups, dishes, and other items are clean and ready for service.Make sure plate covers are clean and dry.Monitor and record food preparation shortages or excesses after tray-line service and communicate concerns to the supervisor.Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.What We're Looking ForFood Handler's Permit and/or ServSafe certification, as required by state regulations.Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.Positive and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and coworkers.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Successful completion of a drug screening, criminal background check, and reference check.Benefits & PerksFlexible scheduling optionsCareer advancement opportunitiesHealth, dental, and vision insurance optionsCompany-paid life insuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Health Savings Account (HSA)Paid Time Off (PTO)Tuition reimbursementBenefit eligibility varies based on employment status.At Cypress at Lake Providence, you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while building your own career.
