Job description
Dietary AideJasper Health Services, Inc. is seeking a dependable and caring Dietary Aide to join our team. This position plays an important role in providing our residents with nutritious meals and a positive dining experience in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist with meal preparation, setup, and service for residentsPrepare resident trays according to menus and dietary instructionsDeliver and retrieve meal trays as assignedAssist residents during meal service as appropriateWash dishes, utensils, cookware, and other kitchen equipmentClean and sanitize work areas, dining areas, and kitchen equipmentFollow proper food handling, sanitation, and infection-control proceduresAssist with stocking and organizing food and dietary suppliesFollow resident diet orders, including texture modifications and other dietary restrictionsWork cooperatively with dietary, nursing, and other facility staffPerform other dietary department duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious dietary, food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience is preferred but not requiredAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsDependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a teamAbility to maintain appropriate sanitation and food-safety standardsMust have a positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service to our residentsMust meet all applicable employment and health requirementsWhat We OfferSupportive, team-oriented work environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residentsCompetitive payBenefits available for eligible employeesOpportunities for growth within Jasper Health Services, Inc.If you are dependable, hardworking, and enjoy helping others, we would love to have you join our team at The Retreat Nursing Home.Apply today to become part of the Jasper Health Services team!
