Dietary AideWaterman Canyon Post Acute Pay Rate: $17.48 - $18.00 per hour Location: San Bernardino, CAJoin Our Team!Waterman Canyon Post Acute is seeking an experienced and dependable Dietary Aide to join our dietary services team. The ideal candidate will have previous dietary, food service, or healthcare experience and a passion for providing excellent service to our residents.Position SummaryThe Dietary Aide assists with meal preparation, food service, sanitation, and maintaining a clean and organized dietary department. This role is essential in ensuring residents receive nutritious meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and facility standards.ResponsibilitiesAssist with meal preparation and tray assembly.Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely manner.Follow resident diet orders and special dietary restrictions.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dining areas, and equipment.Wash dishes, utensils, and food preparation items.Store food properly and adhere to food safety regulations.Assist with inventory and stocking supplies as needed.Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, families, and staff.QualificationsPrevious dietary aide, food service, or healthcare experience required.Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.Must be dependable, punctual, and professional.Food Handler Card preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.BenefitsCompetitive pay: $17.48 - $18.00 per hourSupportive team environmentOpportunities for growth and advancementComprehensive benefits package available for eligible employeesApply Today!If you are an experienced Dietary Aide who enjoys serving others and making a difference in the lives of residents, we encourage you to apply and become part of the Waterman Canyon Post Acute team.We are an equal opportunity employer.
